Dia De Los Muertos

Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead is a holiday celebrated in Mexico and Latin America in which families honor loved ones who have passed on. It highlights their cultural belief in the circle of life. This holiday is rich with food, celebration, and ART! This week we are studying the cultural significance of Day of the Dead and with the art process of Printmaking, we will create Calavera designs and make several embellished prints.
