Line Design
All artworks are made up of a language referred to as THE ELEMENTS OF ART. These 7 elements are used to create and analyze art. By the end of this semester, you will be able to identify all of these elements within any art piece and use a combination of the elements to create beautiful works of art on your own.
The first, and most basic, element of art is LINE. A line is any mark made with an art tool that connects two points. There are hundreds of types of lines. Straight, long, short, wavy, bumby, jagged, organic, geometric, thick, thin.... and the list goes on! We will be using many types of lines to create a line design with variation.
